Terms and Conditions
Draft version 2026-09-09. Please read these terms before agreeing to use a Votum account.
Who provides Votum
Votum is operated by Lenny Letcher, sole proprietor, based in Phoenix, Arizona, United States. Business address: Postal/business address not yet provided; city and state are not a mailing address. Support contact: lgletch2@msn.com.
Votum helps you collect dreams, organize plans with people on your lists, and save memories. Items belong to a list. A personal list is a list with one member; a shared list uses the same model. Member roles determine access. Optional features include public memory posts, AI suggestions, maps, and links to providers.
Accounts and eligibility
Votum accounts are for people aged 18 or older. You must be able to agree to these terms under the law that applies to you. Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in details, and contact us if you believe your account has been misused.
The initial release is planned for the United States and Canada. This describes the intended launch markets, not confirmation that registration is open or that access from other countries is technically blocked.
Agreement to these terms is separate from permission for optional analytics or AI sharing. Our Privacy Notice explains our use of personal information.
Lists and other people
Only invite people who would reasonably expect your invitation. Do not use invitations for advertising or spam. Members may read, change, copy, or download information according to their roles. Surprise items are intended to stay hidden from their selected recipient until revealed; other members who can see them can still disclose them.
Get permission or another lawful basis before adding someone else’s personal information. Do not store passwords, identity documents, payment-card numbers, or medical records in Votum. Edit access to a list does not mean every member has agreed to publish its contents.
Your content and public sharing
You retain the rights you have in your text and images. You give Votum a limited, non-exclusive permission to store, process, reproduce, format, and display them as necessary to provide the features you choose, maintain the service, and protect users. This does not transfer ownership or authorize unrelated advertising use of private content.
Publishing a memory or trip makes the selected name, text, image, and details available to anyone, including search engines and social previews. Obtain permission from identifiable people and review the public preview. Public posts are snapshots: editing the private plan does not automatically update them. Use the public post’s edit or unpublish controls separately.
Removing a post stops its display in the normal Votum Feed, but third parties may have kept copies. Contact us about personal information or images you believe should be removed; this does not limit your legal rights.
Community rules
Do not use Votum for illegal activity, exploitation, threats, harassment, hateful abuse, scams, spam, copyright infringement, privacy violations, sexual content involving children, or nonconsensual intimate imagery including fabricated images. Do not upload malicious files or bypass access controls. See Community rules and Report or contact for reporting and review.
AI, bookings, and affiliate links
AI starter plans use Anthropic only after the permission shown with each request. New AI-generated starter plans are labeled and should be checked before use. Older starter text may not carry that label. AI suggestions may be wrong. Check prices, dates, availability, accessibility, suitability, and safety with the provider before acting. Votum does not provide medical, legal, financial, or emergency advice.
Bookings and purchases happen with the company you visit through a handoff link. That provider sets its prices, availability, booking terms, cancellations, and refunds. Votum does not collect payment for those bookings. Some links may earn Votum a commission, as disclosed near the link. Nothing here excludes any responsibility Votum has under applicable law.
Changes, restrictions, and ending use
We may make reasonable changes for security, maintenance, legal duties, or service improvements. Material changes to your rights or use require appropriate notice and any legally required choice. If paid Votum features are introduced, pricing and applicable cancellation terms will be shown before you agree to pay.
We may restrict content or accounts when reasonably necessary to address unlawful activity, breaches of these rules, or safety and security risks. Context and seriousness matter. Reasons and review options should be provided where legally permitted; urgent action may be needed first.
You may stop using Votum and initiate an account deletion request in Account privacy. A request starts a manual process; it is not immediate deletion. Shared lists require separate handling of your personal information and other members’ contributions. See the Privacy Notice.
Your legal rights
Contact lgletch2@msn.com or use Report or contact when something goes wrong. Nothing in these terms removes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights. You retain rights to complain to regulators and bring claims in courts available under applicable law.
Material updates apply prospectively and will be presented for a new agreement when required. These draft terms do not impose mandatory arbitration, a class-action waiver, or a blanket exclusion of legal liability. Operator-specific governing-law and liability provisions require legal review before release.
